These
are opportunity seekers who have completed an on-line information form in
the last 3 to 14 days. They are not offered any prizes, giveaways, or
any other valuable incentive for supplying information. They have
clicked through a banner ad on one of the affiliate web portals. The
banners typically say "Work From Home", "Earn Money at Home", "Be Your Own
Boss", "Fire Your Boss" or something similar. |

When they click on
the banner they redirect to a page that iterates some of the benefits and
possibilities that result from owning and operating their own home based
business. They agree to receive free information about home based
business opportunities and fill in a form with their First and Last Names,
Street Adresses, City, State, Zip Code, Telephone Number and Email
Addresses. The CGI script for collecting the information from the form
is configured to record the Date&Time Stamp and Remote IP Address along
with the personal information in the form. |

With the Date/Time Stamp information you
know exactly when the prospect asked for information. (NOTE: Times are GMT. You will need
to calculate the difference between GMT and the local time zone where the
prospect lives to determine the local time when they completed the
form.) You can use this information in your approach to
establish rapport. Knowing the date and time they signed up can be a
hint to the best time to call the prospect. If a prospect can't
remember requesting information about a home based business you can jog
his or her memory with the day of the week and time they completed the
form. Your own marketing creativity will make this information more
valuable to you.

Sometimes
people will complete a form for information then maliciously or spuriously
make a spam complaint when you email them. The Date/Time Stamp and
Remote IP Address is the information your ISP or Autoresponder provider
will want to answer these types of complaints. |
