Skip to List of Downline Rosters Downline rosters can be a way to give your organization a rocket boost. Experienced networking pros use them to get big growth in a short period of time. Some of the companies are still active, but most of the downline rosters are companies that have gone out of business for one reason or another. Many have had problems with a local or federal regulatory agency because of compensation packages that did not quite meet every little requirement. Most of these companies, however were able to attract tens of thousands of customers and distributors before their demise. Here are some reasons Downline Rosters are good recruiting tools:
Downline rosters are diamond mines. There is no doubt that they contain diamonds. But it is also true that they are not all diamonds. There definitely will be some dead-weight rocks in the mine. Ole Pros who use these lists know that they must be approached with more tact and respect than opportunity seeker leads. Some of these people may have had a huge source of income yanked out from under them. Some of them may have just gotten started when the opportunity evaporated. Getting started can be costly in terms of time, money, and emotional involvement. Either way, both of these types might well be thinking that they never want to see or hear about another network marketing venture as long as they live. But, of course, they don't really feel that way deep inside. Once an entrepreneur has experienced the limitless rewards available in network marketing they will never be without a product to market for very long. Still others are ambitious and hard working individuals who have a desire to be their own bosses and build a business that will free them from the corporate rut of trading time for money. They may have been recruited or sponsored by someone who did not fulfill any of a sponsor's duties, and left them to flounder. And then the company went out of business. Now we know none of you would treat someone that way. But you and we both know that it does happen. Some of those are on these lists. They may want to tell you what a horrible experience it was. If you argue with them, or try to prove to them how much different your program is you just might get a cold shoulder, or worse. But if you listen to them, and understand their frustration and anger, you may find a friend who becomes a distributor. And you may be the beneficiary of that desire they have to succeed and prosper. Now, when you do find a Diamond you will be in contact with a very strong personality. If you, too, have a strong personality it would be good to resist the temptation to compete for dominance. That contest will not have a good outcome. But even if this person has more experience than you do, and even if he has had much greater success than you have had, you don't need to be servile. Bowing and scraping is not the way to build a good business relationship. Mutual respect builds solid relationships. Respect them, but definitely respect yourself too. Be professional and thorough and you may find yourself sitting on top of a rocked fueled by your newfound dynamo. If you are relatively new this may be the time to have a three-way conversation with some of the powerhouses in your upline. We need to make this disclaimer: downline rosters are NOT lead lists. They are basically information sources. They will inform you of some contact information about people who are listed on the rolls of various network marketing companies. We do not represent that any of the contact information is accurate or timely. It is expressly anticipated that some information will be outdated. Some of them may be, or may have been customers only. Some may be or may have been customers and distributors. Usually there is no way of determining the type of involvement they have or have or had with the company. We have used both the present tense have, and past tense had for a couple of reasons. Some of these companies have gone out of business, but some are still active. On the lists of the active companies there may be some people who are no longer active distributors or customers with that company. We make no representations or claims about the status of any list entries with a particular company, and we make no representations or claims about how long, and how successful any particular person is or was.
